Creatures of the Night is a 180,000-word YA fantasy manuscript. I was the copy editor for this project, and since it was the client's first edit, I also offered comments regarding structure and plot. This copy edit was completed following the Chicago Manual of Style but with Australian spelling conventions.
Along with the completed edit, I created an in-depth style sheet for the client that included basic stylistic information—characters, locations, proper nouns, and style decisions—as well as detailed lists of every magic spell used and its effect, each magical creature and their description and abilities, and each use of the client's created language.
